Andrew Lawson

Bio

 

Andrew Lawson is a Noosa-based singer and entertainer who's performed extensively for the past 10 years.

 

Writing and performing from a young age - the Griffith Conservatorium of Music Attendee managed to place 3rd on the first season of top-rated Australian talent show 'X-Factor' after deciding to defer his studies.

He has since toured the country twice with international acts Leo Sayer and Taylor Dayne and has also travelled Australia in a theatre production of Ladies Night.

 

Andrew draws inspiration from older artists like Johnny Cash, Elvis Presley and Roy Orbison hoping to blend the old with the new.

Whether playing in a band or as a solo act - Andrew never fails to deliver a refreshing new take on some old classics.
